Hello, my name is Dario Cozier
I am a Bronx based photographer, with my family hailing from the islands of Barbados and Curacao. I studied Digital Media Art at CUNY New York City Technical Institute and have taken art classes at the School of Visual Art. My Photography journey has led me to take photographs across New York City and Barbados. As a photographer that is interested in family, friends and memories; photography is a means for me to capture those moments in my own frames and to have the ability to capture both the moments along with the energy of that exact shot. For me its as if time freezes, my senses shut off and I reboot myself so all I can see is my camera and hear the sound of my shutter. For me Photography; my camera itself is Healing.
